We'll be doing a highly spirited community flag dance/line dance that will be led by the gallant Filipino domestic workers from Damayan who are dubbed as modern-day heroes... ang mga bagong Katipunera (the new Katipuneras)!
Attire: Green Damayan shirt (or any green shirt), black bottom (pants/short/skirt) & comfortable shoes. We'll be providing small Philippine flags and sashes!
Formation: Flags, banners & strollers in front, flag/line dancers next, and then non-flag/line-dancers towards the back
Food: Light breakfast and drinks will be provided to all participants. If you want to join us for a communal lunch at the park after the march, you can pre-order your lunch for $8 (food courtesy of our friends from San Lorenzo Ruiz Church). Lunch will be distributed when we get to the park (no need to wait in line).
Tunay na kalayaan para sa tunay na pagbabago!
Work for genuine freedom towards genuine change!
